Serena has over 30 years of experience in the field of psychology. She is a chartered psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society and its Special Group in Coaching Psychology. She served as a senior lecturer in psychology at Nottingham Trent University (UK) for 18 years and has run a private practice specializing in psychological consulting and private tuition for over 12 years.
Serena currently runs her own consultancy, The Psychology School (www.thepsychologyschool.co), which focuses on positive psychology, behavioral change, and peak performance. She primarily teaches these concepts to healthcare institutions worldwide.
Serena is also well known for her work in forensic psychology, particularly her expertise on violent serial homicide. Having previously worked for His Majesty's Prison Service and Rampton Hospital as a clinician, she brings a deep understanding of what it truly takes to approach behavioral change and achieve peak performance in all aspects of life.
Widely featured in the media for her work, particularly in criminal profiling, Serena's expertise has been highlighted in major newspapers, radio shows, and, more recently, in specialized documentaries on Apple TV, Amazon, SKY, Virgin, and UK terrestrial channels.
